Rebekah and Jason's Engagement

I'm so excited about Rebekah and Jason's wedding tomorrow! I came to know Rebekah through a friend of mine--Liz (Liz and Rebekah are sisters--and incidentally enough, Liz is getting married this September, and I'm also photographing her wedding).

Anyway, I've really enjoyed getting to know Rebekah and Jason, and it's great to see how they love each other. I'm especially excited because I'm going to be spending pretty much the whole day with Rebekah and her bridesmaids as they get ready. I love the wedding day story, and in my opinion, it starts long before the bride gets to the ceremony site. So, it's going to be fun to photograph the emotions and events of the entire day. Since we did their engagement session last fall--pre-blog days--I'll share a few on here now.

Angela and Carl--4.25.2009

This past Saturday Angela and Carl tied the knot at the Hampton Banquet Hall in Gibsonia. Once again, the weather was perfect, and we enjoyed a quick jaunt over to St. Barnabas to take some outside shots.

Angela was absolutely beautiful--and very relaxed! Both she and Carl had one attendant each, which I think made things a little more low key and enabled them to have a fun group portrait session. The Hampton Hall's DJ really kept the dance floor going all evening, and I think everyone enjoyed the celebration.

Angela and Carl's Engagement Photos

Last Saturday I once again headed out to Hartwood Acres for an engagement photo session with Angela and Carl. Their wedding is actually TODAY! Let's just say we were waiting for the weather to warm up for their shoot.

They brought their two dogs, and we had fun roaming around the area. I thought it was a pretty warm day, but looks like it was just a taste of things to come this weekend. That's how it goes in Pittsburgh with spring weddings. I'll be seeing them again in just a few hours.
