Amy and Ian's engagement photos

Yesterday, I headed back to Phipps for Amy and Ian's engagement photo shoot. This was actually my first time to meet them, as they're currently living out of state and planning their wedding long-distance. They happened to be in town for the holidays, so we were finally able to meet. I enjoyed getting to hear a bit of their story (I love engagement stories), and I'm very excited about photographing their wedding in August. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the afternoon.

Flowers

A couple of weeks ago I went to the Phipps Conservatory to take some photographs for a photography "project" that I'm working on. They had their winter flower show going on, so of course, there were lots of poinsettias. Here are some photos from the day.








This flower was amazing at it was half red, half white. It looked like a mutation of sorts.



There were some beautiful orchids. I thought these looked a little Aggie maroon.







I will be heading back to Phipps again soon for an engagement portrait shoot. It's one of the best places to go for good "outside" photos during the winter.
